About this file
This document is a master on-call agreement between the City of Bridgeport and an engineering firm for providing airport engineering and architectural services. The agreement establishes a framework for the engineer to provide on-call professional services for airport projects, including project coordination and administration, AIP funding applications, preparing plans and specifications, conducting planning and environmental studies, securing permits, and performing bidding services and construction administration. The contract has an initial one-year term with options to extend for two additional one-year periods, allowing the City to issue task orders for specific airport-related engineering services as needed throughout the contract term.
The compensation structure is based on an hourly rate schedule, with a maximum total compensation limit specified in the agreement. Each task order will detail the specific scope of services, schedule, and not-to-exceed compensation amount. The City will pay the engineer monthly based on itemized invoices, and the total fees under the agreement are subject to annual budget appropriations. The engineer must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage and is responsible for providing qualified personnel to complete the services. The agreement includes provisions for termination, performance standards, and detailed record-keeping requirements, with a focus on ensuring professional and timely completion of airport-related engineering tasks.
