About this file

This document is a Quick Quote solicitation from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Division of Wildlife for portable generators. The agency is seeking to procure three (3) specific Champion Power Equipment generators, Model #201282, which are 5,000/4,000-Watt Gasoline Powered Portable Generators with 120/240V capabilities, CO Shield, CARB Compliance, and RV-Ready status. The generators will be delivered to the Ohio Division of Wildlife District 5 Headquarters located in Xenia, Ohio, with Kelsea Downs serving as the primary contact. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder through the Ohio Buys procurement platform, with proposals to be submitted electronically.

The generators are specified with detailed technical requirements, including a 224cc engine displacement, 105 lb weight, yellow color, and capable of producing 4000 running watts and 5000 starting watts. The procurement process emphasizes a F.O.B. Destination/Pre-Paid/Allowed delivery method, meaning the contractor bears all freight costs and risk of loss until the state accepts the deliverables. Pricing will be evaluated on a low lot total basis, calculated by multiplying unit costs with estimated usage, with potential disqualification for bidders who do not quote all required items. The contact for additional information is Kelsea Downs, who can be reached at 614-273-9332 or Kelsea.Downs@dnr.ohio.gov.
