About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) form submitted to the State of Illinois Department of Natural Resources for agricultural farming services at Pyramid State Park, specifically the Denmark Unit Farm Lease. The document serves as the official bid submission form that vendors must complete and submit in accordance with the solicitation requirements outlined in the IFB. Bidders are required to review and comply with all mandatory documentation listed in Section A.1 of the solicitation, with failure to meet requirements resulting in disqualification. The form instructs bidders to reference the main solicitation document for specific details regarding project locations, acreage information, response deadlines, and contract terms.

The bid form addresses several key considerations for prospective vendors, including options to claim preferences under the Illinois Procurement Code such as Illinois Business Preference and Domestic Product Preference, with vendors required to submit supporting affidavits or documentation as applicable. Bidders have the opportunity to take exceptions to the Standard Terms and Conditions by submitting a redlined version of the contract terms, though the State reserves the right to accept or reject any proposed exceptions. All resulting contracts will incorporate the Standard Terms and Conditions available on the Illinois CPO website, and bidders must certify their understanding that submission of the completed form constitutes a binding offer to perform in full compliance with the solicitation requirements.
