About this file
This document is a Metro Ethernet Quote Request Information Sheet for a state and local contract opportunity in Illinois. The Department of Innovation and Technology is seeking bids for Point to Point Metro-Ethernet Transport Service between locations in Clay County and Effingham County. The service must be provided via fiber, with copper and wireless services unacceptable. Vendors are required to deliver the service to the user agency's designated locations and terminate on the vendor-provided switch. The award will be based on the Total Cost of Ownership, which includes the Monthly Recurring Charge and Non-Recurring Charge. Bidders must bid on all optional bandwidth tiers at each site to be eligible for award. The vendor must provide fully operable service within 180 days of the service order execution.
Pricing must include all costs and may not include any additional costs due to taxes unless accompanied by proof the State is subject to the tax. Bidders must bid on all the optional line items for additional broadband tiers at each site to be eligible for award of each location. The State may request to execute a Contract Amendment with the Vendor to switch to any of the optional bandwidth tiers for that location during the contract term.
