About this file
This file comprises an OSHA Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidance document and a City of Tampa irrigation services contract opportunity in Florida. The government description indicates that the awarded contractor(s) will provide irrigation repair and installation services at multiple locations throughout Tampa as needed, with work performed directly by the awardee rather than subcontractors. Services include incidental design work such as shop drawings, sketches, and as-built drawings upon request, as well as directional boring services, which may be performed in-house or through subcontractors. The technical specifications and detailed requirements are referenced in attachments. No specific response dates, due dates, site visits, bidders' meetings, award dates, or contract term information is provided in the available documentation.
The SDS attachment serves as a reference document outlining OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard requirements for Safety Data Sheets, effective June 1, 2015, which prescribe a uniform format across 16 sections covering product identification, hazards, composition, first-aid measures, fire-fighting, accidental release procedures, handling and storage, exposure controls, physical properties, stability and reactivity, toxicological information, ecological information, disposal considerations, transport information, regulatory requirements, and other relevant information. No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, funding sources, or other salient contract details are present in the provided documentation.
