About this file

This document is a registration requirement guideline from the New York State (NYS) Department of Labor related to Article 8 contractors for the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Staten Island Developmental Disabilities Service Office kitchen renovation project. The project involves procurement of kitchen renovation services as detailed in an attached scope of work. Attendance at a mandatory site visit is required prior to quote submission. Interested vendors and sub-contractors must submit quotes that include the provided quote proposal form and a detailed cost breakdown distinguishing materials costs from labor costs in accordance with project specifications. The procurement is being conducted under NYS OPWDD's discretionary purchasing authority.

This is designated as a New York State Public Works project, which mandates that all vendors and sub-contractors pay prevailing wages as determined by applicable regulations. All vendors and sub-contractors must be registered with the NYS Department of Labor (NYS DOL), and proof of current registration through a certificate of registration must be submitted with the quote submission. Inquiries regarding project details or clarification requests should be directed to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov. The registration requirement is a mandatory compliance element for all contractors participating in Article 8 public works projects in New York State.
