About this file

This document contains a request for information and sample maintenance logs for NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio transmitter sites in Colorado. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is seeking capability statements from businesses able to provide maintenance services for NOAA weather radio transmitters, which must be operational 24/7 to support weather forecasts, warnings and emergency alerts. The potential five-year contract would include emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections. Respondents should demonstrate experience maintaining medium power RF transmitters from manufacturers like Armstrong, Crown, Nautel and Continental Electronics. Capability statements are limited to ten pages and should address the firm's qualifications, relevant past performance including contract details, and ability to meet the requirements in the attached performance work statement, including security clearances and experience with state and local governments. Sample maintenance logs are included as an attachment to track inspection results and repairs for reference.
