QUESTION AND ANSWER

1. There are three (3) Trane 7.5 Ton Condensing Units. The Task #1 request replacing them using 10 Tons, is this correct?

The existing units are 10 tons. The Remove and dispose existing refrigerant and install new R-410A refrigerant to all units, flush existing system with a refrigerant flushing solution. We would ask the contractor to verify that 7.5 ton CU would work for this application. If it will then we will consider 7.5 tons

2. The two (2) Liebert DCDF205 are 290,000 BTUH each one, 24 Tons. Task #2 request replacing them using 10 Tons condensers. Please clarify.

We want to replace them in kind (same size (10), brand, etc), they must be compatible with existing interior units. Add refrigerant as needed, flush existing piping if needed. Cu-PAC 1 72 equipment room 104.400 liebert model # CDF 251 w/ phoenolic (HERISITE) coated condenser coils. by as build drawings .

3. As part of the SOW, the BAS has to be updated. Please indicate the Controls Contractor you use for this building.

CASI or other automated logic controller company

4. Will temporary AC units be required during the replacement?

Leibert replacement can be phased to avoid temporary cooling. Temporary cooling for replacing the CU's on ACU's will be needed

5. Can you evaluate an extension for the 90 days period of performance?

We will extend the period of performance to 180 days from date of award.

6. Does we need to consider MOT?

If the work is conducted on WFO property then an MOT is not required. If the vendor is unable to conduct work on WFO property then they will require all applicable permits.
