Summary of NTC_2026-10-12_Fire_Alarm_Systems_TOCA-MEA_2627-02_v2.pdf

This document is a Notice to Contractors issued by the Board of Trustees of the California State University for a Task Order Construction Agreement focused on fire alarm system projects. The procurement seeks qualified general contractors to provide Design-Build (DB), Collaborative (Progressive) Design-Build (CDB), and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the design, preconstruction, construction management, and construction of a portfolio of fire alarm projects across the California State University system, specifically at California State University, Fresno. The engagement operates under a master enabling agreement structure that allows for multiple task orders to be issued throughout the contract period. Prospective respondents must submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to demonstrate their qualifications and capabilities for this work.

The document establishes the framework for a master enabling agreement that will govern the terms, conditions, and procedures for issuing individual task orders for fire alarm projects. Specific pricing terms, set-asides, funding amounts, and contract duration details would be established either in the master enabling agreement itself or on a task order-by-task basis. Respondents should review all solicitation materials and the master enabling agreement terms to understand compensation structures, performance requirements, and other contractual obligations specific to this fire alarm systems portfolio.
