About this file

This is a Notice to Vendors issued by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Procurement Manager Jon Baysden regarding the procurement of Winch Mount Pushbumpers for 2023 F250/350 4X4 vehicles to be delivered to SCDOT in Columbia, South Carolina. The notice indicates that SCDOT was unable to obtain three bona fide responsive and responsible written quotes through informal procurement channels and has therefore advertised the opportunity in the South Carolina Business Opportunities (SCBO) publication. Vendors who previously submitted quotes in response to the Request for Informal Quote issued by SCDOT SHEP Incident Management on July 29, 2023, need not respond to this advertisement unless they are unable to honor their previously quoted pricing.

No specific quantities, delivery dates, bidders' meetings, or contract award timelines are detailed in this notice. The procurement is based on detailed specifications and scope of work documents that are referenced as attachments but not included in this file. Pricing terms are to be based on quotes previously submitted or newly provided in response to this notice, with vendors expected to maintain pricing consistency from the initial informal quote process.
