About this file

This document is a Notice of Withdrawal from the Florida Department of Management Services (the Department) regarding Solicitation No. RFQ No. REDM22/23-07 for a Continuing Contract for Architect-Engineering Environmental Services in the Northwest Florida Region. The Department received a single responsive bid from Mihir Environics, Inc. and has decided to withdraw the RFQ and proceed to negotiate an exceptional purchase pursuant to Section 287.057(6), Florida Statutes, in lieu of re-soliciting. This is not an award under the withdrawn RFQ. The Department intends to negotiate the best terms and conditions for the State of Florida.

The contract opportunity was for the Northwest Florida Region, which includes jurisdictions such as Leon County and Tampa City. Interested parties had the opportunity to submit qualifications, but the Department only received one responsive bid. As a result, the Department is exercising its statutory authority to negotiate an exceptional purchase, which is excepted from the normal competitive procurement requirements. Parties interested in this contract opportunity will need to monitor for further updates from the Department regarding the negotiation process.
