The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks qualified contractors for a general contracting (GC) project at the Orient Land Port of Entry (LPOE) Building located at 632 Boundary Road, Orient, Maine 04471. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of all vinyl siding, inspection of sheathing, installation of breathable wall vapor barrier, installation of new lap-style siding and trim, scraping and prepping of canopy columns and old window sashes in the brick area, and painting the entire building. Work must comply with the latest 2026 PBS Core Building Standards, and a supervisor must be onsite at all times during performance. The contractor will work in an active Federal Building and must be prepared to work after normal business hours if day work would disrupt building occupants. The GSA Project Team and Construction Quality Manager (CQM) will monitor construction closely.

The contract will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed Price agreement for GC services under a negotiated procurement in accordance with FAR Part 15, with award made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror. The procurement is set aside for HUBZone-certified businesses. Performance begins 10 business days after the Contracting Officer issues the Notice to Proceed. The contractor has 60 days from the Notice to Proceed for security clearances and submittals, with an estimated 240-day construction period. The Government reserves the right not to use this ordering vehicle if market research results indicate it is not in its best interest.
