Notice of Intent to Sole Source
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award to Charles Neely Corporation for procurement of a laundry detergent feed system and associated chemicals for commercial washers at Unaccompanied Housing Corry Station, FL and the Center for Information Dominance (CID). The contractor shall provide and maintain a complete system comprising four pumps, four front-load dispensers, a controller (machine interface), J-cables (963300), and a chemical dispenser with built-in load count feature capable of tracking and documenting wash loads, chemicals dispensed, wash levels, and wash times. The system must be compatible with B&C Technologies Model SP100E2 25 ANN-ABA washing machines. The work falls under NAICS code 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance), with a small business size standard of $12.5 million.
All eligible sources must submit written responses within 15 calendar days of notice publication, supported by clear and convincing evidence demonstrating the ability to provide comparable items and prove the requirement is more advantageous to the Government than sole-source procurement. Mere requests for documentation will not constitute an affirmative response. If no qualifying responses are received by the deadline, the sole source acquisition award will proceed. Responses must be directed to contract specialist Quentin Keaton (Quentin.l.keaton.civ@us.navy.mil) and contracting officer Peiney Allerton (peiney.t.allerton.civ@us.navy.mil).
