About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Single Source from Collier County, Florida, specifically for procuring Methadone Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services through New Season Treatment Center. The single source procurement is scheduled for release on Friday, May 9, 2025, with a submission deadline of Friday, May 16, 2025 at 3:00 pm, covering a contract period from 5/9/2025 to 9/30/2028. The procurement is specifically for services addressing the opioid epidemic, utilizing Florida Opioid Settlement Funding to provide prevention, treatment, and recovery services for Collier County residents.
The justification for the single source procurement is based on the unique provision that methadone medications can only be provided by a state-approved agency in Collier County, which in this case is Metro Treatment of Florida, LP doing business as New Season Treatment Center. The document emphasizes that this is not an invitation to bid or quote, and respondents are not to provide pricing. Instead, potential respondents are asked to provide documentation if they believe there are alternative qualified sources for the identified services. The procurement will be reviewed by the Procurement Services Division, which will have sole determining power in establishing the approved status of any alternative providers.
