This equipment is used to capture 2 photon imaging from in vivo preparations. The 2 photon acquisiton system currently in use by the NVR Unit and is essential for work that is central to the mission fo the lab. The microscope makes it possible for the lab to visualize the function of the neurovasculature of in vivo systems to better understand the role of specific cells within the neurovascular unit.
