About this file

This is a Notice of Solicitation Cancellation issued by the California Military Department, Office of the Adjutant General, regarding Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 128129 for Roll-up Door Replacement and Repairs at Sacramento Okinawa FMS-22 and Meadowview OMS. The original project scope required contractors to provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to remove and replace one full roll-up door at the Okinawa FMS 22 and remove and replace four roll-up door motors and components at the Meadowview OMS. The original bid opening was scheduled for May 22, 2026, at 2:15 PM. A mandatory pre-bid job walk was scheduled for May 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM, beginning at Sacramento Okinawa FMS-22 (8410 Okinawa Street, Sacramento, CA 95828), with attendance required to avoid disqualification. Questions regarding the IFB were required to be submitted by May 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM to Contracting Administrator Jordan Bernal. Prime contractors were required to possess a California type D-28 license for Doors, Gates and Activating Devices.

The IFB has been cancelled as of April 27, 2026, with all bids rejected as non-responsive. At the discretion of the Military Department's Chief Procurement & Contracting Officer, the project will be split into two separate solicitations: one for the removal and replacement of the single roll-up door at Okinawa FMS 22, and a separate solicitation for the repairs of the four roll-up doors at Meadowview OMS. No pricing information or funding amounts were disclosed in the original solicitation materials prior to cancellation.
