About this file
This document is an amendment to CPO Notice 2022.05 issued by the Central Management Services Bureau of Strategic Sourcing for the State of Illinois. The amendment recognizes that subsequent Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23 supersede the previous Executive Order 2021-20 and extend the date that certain contractors must become vaccinated against COVID-19. The amendment requires agencies to notify potential contractors of the updated Executive Orders and include the updated COVID-19 Protections clause into all solicitations.
The COVID-19 Protections clause mandates that contractors shall adhere to the requirements of the Executive Orders, which include the use of face coverings, COVID-19 vaccinations, or COVID-19 testing when in indoor public places, healthcare facilities, schools, institutions of higher education, and state-owned and operated congregate facilities. Agencies may also implement additional vaccination or testing requirements that exceed those in the Executive Orders.
