About this file

This document is an amendment to a prior COVID-19 policy notice from the Illinois Chief Procurement Office (CPO) for state and local agency procurement staff. The amendment updates the COVID-19 protection requirements for contractors to align with more recent Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23, which supersede the previous Executive Order 2021-20. The updated COVID-19 protections clause requires contractors to adhere to masking, vaccination, and testing requirements when working in certain facilities such as public buildings, health care facilities, schools, universities, and state-operated congregate settings. Agencies must include this amended COVID-19 protections clause in all solicitations, regardless of procurement method, including those currently published on BidBuy.

The document does not provide details on any specific contract opportunity. It focuses solely on the updated COVID-19 policy requirements that must be incorporated into all state and local contract solicitations in Illinois.
