About this file

This document contains bidding notes for the Maine State Warden Service related to utility terrain vehicle (UTV) and related equipment procurement. The notes outline specifications for a 4x4 ATV with a minimum 400cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with four-valve configuration, electric start with auxiliary recoil, automatic transmission with high, low, park, neutral, and reverse gears, shaft-driven 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive capability, 25-inch tires, heavy-duty front and rear racks and bumpers, independent rear suspension with MacPherson strut front suspension, hydraulic brakes, 4-gallon fuel capacity, 3,000-pound electric winch, cover, rear storage box, and front and rear lights. The document indicates that bids are being sought for twelve snowmobiles to be equipped with LED lighting systems. No specific response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract term information is provided in these notes.

The solicitation specifies LED light requirements including a single blue LED lighthead with weatherproof flasher assembly for each of the twelve snowmobiles, operating on 12 VDC with single toggle switch control and maximum current draw of 0.5 amps per unit. The LEDs must be blue in color rather than clear with blue lens cover. Warranty requirements include a five-year standard warranty for the lighthead and a two-year standard warranty for the flasher, both measured from the date of purchase. The document indicates that vendors must submit questions through the Question and Answer link on the Solicitation Details View page, with responses posted in the same location.
