About this file
This document contains bidding notes for the Maine State Warden Service's procurement of two distinct equipment categories: 4x4 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and LED light assemblies for snowmobiles. The ATV specifications require vehicles with a minimum 400cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with four valves, electric start with auxiliary recoil, automatic transmission with multiple gears and engine braking capability, 2-wheel/4-wheel drive shaft transmission, 25-inch tires, heavy-duty front and rear racks and bumpers, independent rear suspension with MacPherson strut front suspension, hydraulic braking system, 4-gallon fuel capacity, 3,000-pound electric winch, protective cover, and rear storage box. The LED lighting procurement seeks twelve individual blue LED light heads with integrated flasher assemblies for snowmobiles used by the Warden Service, with each unit requiring weatherproof construction, 12VDC operation, single toggle switch control, maximum current draw of 0.5 amps, genuine blue LED color (not clear lens with blue cover), and a standard five-year warranty for the light head and two-year warranty for the flasher.
The document specifies that all vendor questions regarding the request for quotation must be submitted through the designated Question and Answer link on the Solicitation Details View page, with responses posted publicly for all vendors to access. Vendors are responsible for monitoring this platform for all questions and answers; inquiries made through alternative channels will not be considered valid for the procurement.
