About this file
This document is Addendum #7 for the Nome Hangar Remodel Project, issued by the Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) Design and Construction office located in JBER, Alaska. The addendum provides clarifications for a construction project in Nome, Alaska, specifically addressing contractor responsibilities for moving connexes and sheds, and detailing door installation requirements for specific entryways (100A, 100B, 100C, and 100D). The addendum specifies that the contractor will install doors in four existing entryways, using knock-down (KD) drywall frames and polystyrene core doors, with mortise locks but no specified key system.
The addendum confirms that doors 101C and 107 are not to be replaced, and provides contact information for Scott Stewart, the Building Management Specialist, who can be reached at scott.stewart@alaska.gov or (907) 428-7198. The document serves to modify previous contract documents and takes precedence in case of any conflicts with earlier issued specifications or drawings. No specific pricing, funding sources, or contract term details are provided in this addendum, which appears to be focused on clarifying technical and scope-related questions for potential contractors.
