This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Revvity Health Sciences, Inc. (68 Elm Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748) for comprehensive annual service and maintenance of laboratory imaging equipment. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) seeks a SIGNATURE Service Plan covering two Operetta CLS high-content imaging systems, six Opera Phenix confocal microscopy systems, and associated integrated equipment including the Flex 750 plate handler/loader and robot fixed cell integration system. The period of performance is 12 months, from 09/24/2026 to 09/23/2027. The requirement falls under NAICS code 811210 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a $34 million threshold.

The service plan must include one annual preventative maintenance visit per instrument, unlimited repair service, all labor and travel costs, non-consumable replacement parts, access to manufacturer-certified service engineers, and use of proprietary diagnostic tools, firmware updates, and OEM components. The sole source justification (41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1) is based on only one responsible source availability and no substitutions being possible. The Government plans to award the contract within 7 days of the notice. 1. Phenotypic and high-content screening

2. Stem cell characterization and differentiation studies

3. Drug response profiling in complex cellular systems

4. Quantitative fluorescence and colorimetric analysis

These systems operate in tightly integrated workflows with robotic handling systems (Flex 750 and fixed cell robotic arm), supporting continuous, high-throughput experimental pipelines.
