About this file
This is a Notice of Intent issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Finance and Facilities Division, Procurement Section, announcing a proposed sole source contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1.
The FBI intends to negotiate a one-time, firm fixed price contract with REMOTEC, Inc., located at 353 JD Yarnell Industrial Parkway, Clinton, TN 37716, for replacement parts for REMOTEC Robots, model F6B and Spartan. The procurement is justified on the basis that REMOTEC, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of supplying these proprietary replacement parts, as the robots and their components are proprietary to the manufacturer. The contract will be negotiated with a single source without competitive bidding. Interested parties may submit a statement of interests and/or capabilities to Contracting Officer Emily York via email only at eyork@fbi.gov no later than Monday, March 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Central Time. Information received will be evaluated solely to determine whether the Government should conduct a competitive procurement instead. The Government reserves the right to proceed with competition at its discretion, and submissions via any method other than email will not be considered.
