About this file
This document is a Notice of Contract Action for a sole-source award to Booz Allen Hamilton for the production and fielding of the Second-Generation Anti-Jam Tactical Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Radio for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) (SATURN) system modification for E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft 2 - 16.
The AWACS Communications Integration Program (ACIP) will provide a UHF communications solution to meet mandated requirements, enabling secure and non-secure fixed frequency and frequency hopping voice communication to support tanker refill operations, Command and Control (C2) offensive/defensive operations, personnel recovery/combat search and rescue missions, and communication with Joint and Allied forces. The ACIP SATURN System will interface with various AWACS aircraft subsystems. This is a sole-source acquisition, and no solicitation is available. Any questions should be directed to the specified government points of contact.
