PREPARATION
1 Furnish all labor and materials to fabricate and install a THREE-STAGE decontamination facility in accordance with federal requirements.

2 Furnish all labor and materials to fabricate and install a TWO-STAGE (no shower) decontamination facility in accordance with current federal requirements.

3 Furnish all labor and materials to construct a temporary partition. The partition must be at least seven feet in height and constructed of plywood, sheetrock or similar material. This line item includes dismantling of the partition at the completion of all work.

4 Install 6-mil thick polyethylene sheeting for use in constructing containment, covering items, as a drop cloth, etc. This line item includes encapsulation, dismantling and disposal.

5 REMOVE asbestos-contaminated debris from floor. Includes HEPA vacuum and wet wipe.

11 Remove asbestos-containing mastic from floor, wall or ceiling

12 Cut access holes in ACMs walls or ceilings to include gaining access to ACMs sf
13 REMOVE existing wood or metal stud drywall partitions where the partition abuts asbestos-containing material. This includes the removal of doors, door frames, electrical outlets, clocks, and switches, and all wiring back to the next junction box or outlet box. Return all doors, frames and hardware to the government.

14 REMOVE horizontal or vertical pipe enclosure covers to gain access to asbestos-containing pipe insulation material. These covers are typically single sheeted, three-sided sheet metal, and are screwed together.

15 ENCAPSULATE ACM on ductwork, including all hangers or other type of fasteners. Encapsulation is to be accomplished via an airless sprayer and an
EPA-approved lockdown encapsulant. Diameters listed below include insulation.

16 REMOVE ACM from ductwork, fan enclosures, or similar equipment. sf
17 ENCAPSULATE asbestos-containing material on piping. Encapsulation is to be accomplished using lagging material and EPA-approved bridging mastic.

21 APPLY wet-wrap, material to exposed asbestos edges, whole edges or damaged asbestos-containing materials.

22 DECONTAMINATE horizontal and vertical surfaces by HEPA-vacuuming, wet-wiping and encapsulating surface with an EPA approved lock-down encapsulant and an airless sprayer. This line item is intended for surfaces within full containments where there are not substantial visible quantities of debris on the surfaces.

23 Provide an industrial hygienist to conduct asbestos abatement oversight and air monitoring services to conform to all applicable OSHA and EPA regulations and to sign asbestos oversight and air monertering reports.
