About this file
This is a solicitation document from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) for maintenance concrete structural repair services in the North and Central regions, requiring Construction Inspection C-6 Level A certification. The project encompasses structural concrete repairs on NJDOT-jurisdictional structures, including graffiti removal as needed, with work potentially of an emergency nature requiring responses within four hours notice, available twenty-four hours daily throughout the year. The solicitation outlines the scope of work requirements, technical specifications, and performance standards necessary for contractors to submit competitive bids for this ongoing maintenance program anticipated for 2027.
The contract structure includes specific pricing mechanisms aligned with NJDOT's standard payment terms for maintenance and repair work, with evaluation criteria emphasizing contractor qualification, experience with structural concrete repairs, and demonstrated capability to meet emergency response requirements. The solicitation specifies any applicable set-asides, prevailing wage requirements, and insurance requirements mandated by the State of New Jersey. Contractors must demonstrate proper licensure, bonding capacity, and relevant experience with comparable NJDOT projects. Funding is provided through NJDOT's capital and maintenance budget allocations, with contract awards contingent upon bid evaluation and vendor responsiveness to the specified technical and administrative requirements.
