About this file

The file contains salient characteristics for National Guard Bureau (NGB) Awards Program Heritage Frames, detailing precise manufacturing specifications for mahogany/cherry veneer frames with specific dimensional requirements. The frames will measure 20"x25" externally, feature a 1 5/8" frame width, 1 13/16" thickness, and include an oatmeal linen liner with a gold inside border. Each frame will have a 7/16" thick stretcher bar, be individually wrapped in bubble wrap, and constructed with precision-cut joined components and mending brackets.

The related federal contract opportunity (Solicitation W912JD25QA014) is a 100% small business set-aside procurement by the Maine Army National Guard for professional frames, with a NAICS code of 339999. The government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price purchase order, evaluating quotes based on technical merit, pricing, and past performance. Potential vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), with quote questions due by 3:00 PM EDT on April 10th, 2025. The solicitation emphasizes that award will not necessarily go to the lowest price, but to the offer representing the best overall value to the government.
