Perform Maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines to include at a minimum the following tasks but not limited to. Perform service twice yearly. NOAA provides all air pre and post filters.

● Visual inspection of the fans and assembly for any wear, fan imbalance, or loosening of fasteners. Inspection should occur both for normal operation and shutdown.

● Completely clean each fan blade to remove any dust or particles that may build up. This will ensure the fans remain balanced and maintain efficiency.

● Listen for any scraping between the impeller and inlet cone. If scraping occurs, re-center the inlet cone. Refer to the start-up guide for more information on this process.

● Ensure all conductor terminations at the quick connect box and control panel are seated securely. Re-torque all screw terminations based on the NEC.

● Check for Controller faults and that the date/time are accurate.

SECTION 4.1. STANDARD DEFINITIONS:

4.1.1. ACCEPTABLE QUALITY LEVEL (AQL). The maximum percent defective (or the maximum number of defects per hundred units) that for purposes of random sampling, may occur before the Government will affect the price computation system in accordance with the Performance Requirements Summary and the Inspection of Services Clause. When the method of surveillance is other than random sampling, the AQL is defined as the number of defects or maximum percentage of defects in the lot that may occur before the Government will affect the price computation system in accordance with the Performance Requirements Summary and the Inspection of Services Clause. An AQL does not allow a contractor to knowingly offer defective service, but limits reduced payment to circumstances in which defective performance results in a measurable reduction in the value of services rendered.

4.1.2. DEFECTIVE SERVICE. A unit of service which contains one (1) or more defects, or nonconformance with specified requirements.

4.1.3. LOT. The total number of service outputs in a surveillance period, as defined in the AQL column of the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS).

4.1.4. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY (PRS). Identifies the key service outputs of the contract that will be evaluated by the Government to assure contract performance standards are met by the contractor.

4.1.5. QUALITY ASSURANCE. Those actions taken by the Government to assure services meet the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

4.1.6. CONTRACTING OFFICER'S REPRESENTATIVE (COR). A Government person designated by the contracting officer with authority to act within the scope of the delegated authority.

4.1.7. QUALITY ASSURANCE SURVEILLANCE PLAN (QASP). An organized written document used for quality assurance surveillance. The document contains specific methods to perform surveillance of the contractor.

4.1.8. QUALITY CONTROL. Those actions taken by a contractor to control the performance of services so that services meet the requirements of the PWS.

4.1.9. RANDOM SAMPLING. A sampling method in which each service output in a lot has an equal chance of being selected.

4.1.10. SAMPLE. A sample consists of one or more service outputs drawn from a lot. The number of outputs in the sample is the sample size.

4.1.11 SAMPLING GUIDE. The part of the surveillance/monitoring plan which contains all the information needed to perform a random sample.

4.1.12 EMERGENCY REPAIR. Is a repair that can occur during normal business hours or after hours and is other items not defined on the regular maintenance table. A typical emergency repair shall start within 2 to 12 hours of notification has been communicated to the contractor.
