About this file
This document is a promotional flyer for the NEXTGEN IACMAC Critical Technologies Industry Day event.
NEXTGEN IACMAC is an $80+ billion Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) vehicle administered by the Department of War (DoW) designed to connect government mission requirements with research and development capabilities from industry, academia, laboratories, and non-traditional innovators. The contract vehicle addresses six Critical Technology Areas (CTAs): Applied Artificial Intelligence (AAI), Biomanufacturing (BIO), Contested Logistics Technologies (LOG), Applied Artificial Intelligence (Q-BID), Scaled Directed Energy (SCADE), and Scaled Hypersonics (SHY). The vehicle emphasizes rapid acquisition cycles, with an average award timeline of five months from requirement identification to contract award, compared to 12-18 months through traditional vehicles. Customer Shared Direct Cost (CSDC) is set at 1-1.5%, significantly below industry average, and includes comprehensive pre- and post-award support at no additional cost. A dedicated Customer Support Cell provides assisted acquisition and requirements development support to each user.
The Industry Day event is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, from 0830-1630 EST at Mark Center, 4800 Mark Center Drive, Alexandria, VA 22350. Registration is available at https://dow-events.com/events/ct-industry-day/. The NEXTGEN IACMAC framework follows a discovery-to-transition model encompassing research, capability development, demonstration, and transition phases with emphasis on achieving technology-to-mission impact.
