· The automated dispense system must have stage position repeatability of at least +/- 0.008 mm in all axes (x, y, z).
· The automated dispense system must have a 3-axis robot capable of dispensing over a 200 mm wide x 200 mm deep x 50 mm high work space with a workpiece payload of at least 5 kg.
· The automated dispense system must have a camera vision system capable of storing fiducial alignment feature images and aligning to matching features on the work piece. Using this alignment system, the dispense system must be able to map the dispense pattern to the workpiece and deposit fluids on the workpiece in precise locations in the x and y axes and theta (rotation).
· The automated dispense system must be capable of searching for alignment features over an area of at least 2 mm x 2 mm.
· The automated dispense system must be capable of accurately locating and realigning the dispense tip (in x, y and z) after tip replacement or cleaning.
· The dispense system must be totally automated by software and capable of using dispense patterns derived from user input DXF files as well as manually programmed/taught dispense paths.
· The automated dispense system must include a complete control computer with monitor, keyboard, mouse and joystick/pendant for manual control.
· The automated dispense system must have maximum dimensions 750 mm x 750 mm x 750 mm.
· The automated dispense system must be able to import user patterns in DXF format.
· The automated dispense system must have at least 8 input and 8 output channels for external I/O control.
· The system must be able to be powered by 120 V 10 A circuits with either a NEMA 5-15 or NEMA 5-20 connection.
· The system must include a 1-year warranty.
· The system must be installed and qualified on-site at NIST Boulder. User training must be supplied during installation.
