About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to Purchase Single/Sole Source Commodities and Services from Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) in Tampa, Florida, for National Fitness Campaign LP. HCPS seeks to procure a comprehensive community wellness solution centered on the Fitness Court, a permanently installed outdoor bodyweight training system designed to deliver full-body workouts for users of all fitness levels at no cost to the public. The vendor's offering includes site planning and design, grant and sponsorship coordination, fabrication and installation, launch and media support, ambassador training, and ongoing digital activation through the Fitness Court mobile app, which provides guided workouts and scalable programming. The infrastructure would be deployed on school campuses and adjacent community spaces to support physical education enhancement, before and after-school activities, staff wellness, and broader community use. The posting period for the Notice of Intent runs from January 24, 2026, to February 3, 2026 (seven business days), with a protest period from February 4, 2026, to February 6, 2026 (three business days).

National Fitness Campaign LP qualifies as a sole source vendor because it is the exclusive designer, owner, and provider of the Fitness Court system and the only organization offering this integrated model that combines patented outdoor fitness infrastructure with campaign membership, digital coaching technology, trained ambassadors, public-private healthcare sponsorships, and Healthy Infrastructure planning services. No other vendor provides the same combination of standardized equipment design, nationwide installation network, healthcare-backed funding partnerships, performance-tested community activation, and proprietary digital ecosystem. Interested firms believing they offer like commodities or services must submit Exhibit B: Response to Purchase Single/Sole Source Commodities and Services and supporting documentation via www.vendorlink.com during the seven-business-day posting period. If no competing like commodities or services are identified, HCPS will recommend to the School Board that the solicitation process be waived and the purchase proceed as a single-source contract. Any multiple-year sole sourcing approval remains valid for one year and must be reposted and validated before renewal.
