About this file
This document is an Amendment (P00001) to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Massage Therapy Services at the Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio. The amendment addresses 12 questions from potential contractors, providing clarity on key solicitation details. Notable insights include: the contract is a new requirement with no incumbent, contractors will establish their own pricing, and they must pay either a monthly concessionaire fee or commission based on gross sales (whichever is higher). The Fitness Center has 7,500 monthly visitors, and contractors must offer massage types including Swedish Massage, Acupressure, Reflexology Therapy, and Myofascial Therapy. Electronic proposals are to be submitted to michael.3.thompson@dla.mil by 3:00 PM EST on April 3, 2025, with contractors recommended to be registered in SAM.gov. The Defense Logistics Agency will provide sheets and face cradle coverings, and the contractor will be responsible for scheduling all appointments.
