N6893623R0029 Questions and Answers
1. Section 2.0 lists Applicable Documents. Is it the responsibility of the manufacturer or the offeror to meet these requirements?
A: It is the responsibility of the Offeror to meet the requirements.
1. Does Section 3.1.3 apply to this solicitation, or was this carried over from a predecessor contract? If applicable, what data should offerors expect to be provided by each of these methods?
A: Yes, section 3.1.3 does apply to this solicitation. We shall not disclose the data files, requests, or instructions that may be transmitted via mail services.
1. Under Section 4.1, what standard must contractors conform to? Is this certification for the life of the contract or on a delivery order basis? How often should offerors expect that this will be a requirement?
A: Section 4.1.1 states that *when* requested at the delivery order level, the Contractor shall ship with a Certificate of Conformance any supplies for which the contract would otherwise require inspection at source. We cannot guarantee a designated number as to when certificates shall be needed.
1. For Section 4.2, can offerors use certification from manufacturers/distributors?
A: The offeror must hold all certifications.
1. CLIN 0002 specifies maintenance, repair, calibration, and installation requirements. Is this equivalent to a manufacturer’s warranty / extended warranty? What term is required?
A: Please see section 3.2 Service Requirements located in the Statement of Work (SOW) for additional information.
1. Must offerors complete Section B Supply Schedule, or is pricing limited to the RFQ for the initial order only?
A: Pricing shall only be included for the initial order.
