GOVERNMENT RESPONSE
Question 1: If won, this agreement starts in Feb, it also says that the first set of PMs is also due in Feb. There is supposed to be a 2 week’s notice given prior to performing work, that is a very tight window to get all necessary PM kits together and get them shipped down. Is the Feb PM date a hard date?
Government Response: The initial PM visit shall occur within 45 days of award and the period of performance will be adjusted accordingly.
Question 2: One section of the proposal says that PMs are due Feb and August, but in another section it says PMs per OEM standards. Some of the items listed require more than 2 PMs per year (most notably the sterilizers and washers). Which do we use when building the proposal?
Government Response: According to the Device Code set by NAVMEDLOGCOM the pm/cal intervals are on the attached worksheet, and the amount of use is another key point for the intervals being such. Please see attached updated equipment list with maintenance cycle.
Question 3: The link for travel only shows travel options to Haiti. Is there another way to determine travel?
Government Response: Contractor will be responsible for coordinating flight arrangements upon receiving flight information from their sponsor. The flight arrangements will be going through Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
