MARKET RESEARCH – SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION EXIST

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Government’s minimum requirements.

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center is issuing this SS Notice to determine whether there are potentially qualified SMALL BUSINESS concerns capable of providing Air Terminal Ground Handling Services, at Naval Air Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation to bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for SMALL BUSINESS.

NAICS Code: 488119, Other Airport Operations.

Description/Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supplies, labor, material, and equipment for Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services in support of the Defense Transportation System to include but not limited to all US Government owned or operated aircraft, US sponsored foreign Government or civil aircraft, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) aircraft, Strategic Airlift Capability Heavy Airlift Wing (HAW) aircraft, and commercial contract aircraft at U.S. Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (NSGB).

It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of M1BE and NAICS Code of 488119 with a size standard of $32.5 Million.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Responses to this Sources Sought (SS) notice shall not exceed two (2) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point. The technical capabilities statement shall include:

A cover page containing the company’s name, address, CAGE code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, NAICS code 488119, business size/socio-economic status, Government business point-of-contact name, phone number, and email address.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SS notice or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted because there is no solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made.

Responses shall be submitted by 11:00 A.M. ET, October 12, 2018. Any questions must be submitted in writing to tamela.t.lewis1@navy.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted.
