ID QuestionsGovt Response ID Questions
Q#1: Would the Navy consider including a prototype tasks within the contract allowing the best application to be awarded?(i.e. either as a CLIN on the contract, or part of a Multi-Award contract)Yes
Q#2: Is this contract a follow on? Has the POP of the previous contract been shortened? This is a follow-on IDIQ contract to N00421-20-D-0028 that will expire 31 March 2025.
Q#3:Do you utilize any COTS Supportability analysis tools along side IRCMS i.e. Integrated FMECA, FTA, MTA, and LORA tools or is IRCMS a stand alone tool?Yes, NAVAIR uses other COTS, and government owned supportability analysis tools. IRCMS is the NAVAIR tool to record, manage, and facilitate NAVAIR RCM analysis only. It can/will interface with the other tools mentioned in the NAVAIR LOG-IT environment.
Q#4: Can you comment on the compute environment/tools for your CBM+ efforts? Is that happening in ADVANA/Jupiter?LOGIT's Aviation Integrated Data Environment (IDE) is provides an on-premises data warehouse/data platform/data science platform, interactive query tool, and Business Intelligence solution as an IT suite enabled by Cloudera Data Platform, Teradata Vantage, Cloudera Data Science Workbench, Hue, Tableau, CognosBI and various supporting GOTS and interfacing COTS solutions. The LOGIT Aviation Cloud environment standup and ongoing migration provides LOGIT Aviation IDE access to and integration with native services, and the LOGIT Aviation sub-domain established in Jupiter extends IDE access to and integration with Advana's tech stack to enable the DON data architecture (for Logistics and Sustainment data) and LOGIT's hybrid-multi cloud Logistics IDE.
Q#5: Would the Navy be open to demonstration of existing DOD CBM+ programs? Provide feedback on how this may meet needs?Yes, NAVAIR is continuously integrating with other services to receive feedback on their CBM+ programs. To date, we have received a top level brief from Army and multiple indepth discussions with USAF. Though there are parts of these approaches that suite the NAVAIR approach, due to the differeance in organizational structure and breadth of platform maturity neither approach has been deemed to meet our requirements in their entirety.
Q#6: Are the current training courses available for review? Access to Vector, OOMA, & Deckplate? What a/c platforms?
Q#7: Is there a requirement for IL4/IL5 or anything going to IL6 in Azure or AWS?LOGIT IDE has high level requirements to support multi-cloud and IL4/5/6, though primary focus is on IL5 and IL6.
Q#8: Is RCM Community of Practice limited to just existing contractors?Industry and academia can attend with concurrence from the NAVAIR RCM Deputy Technical Warrant Holder.
