About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Request for Quote (RFQ) N6817126QN059 issued by the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella Naples Office, effective July 30, 2026. The amendment addresses contractor questions received via email, updates the Statement of Work (SOW) specifications with revisions highlighted in red, and provides reference pictures as requested in Question 1. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
The procurement is for the procurement of office furniture for the NSA Naples CMDCM office located in Building 442 (Admin I), rooms 31, 32, 33, and 33B. The contractor must deliver, install, and assemble all furniture items within 60 working days of final design determination. Key requirements include: (1) provision of four areas of office furniture featuring L-shaped electric elevating desks, cabinets with fixed and movable shelves, pedestals with drawers, operative seats, and armchairs in American walnut finish; (2) installation and assembly services ensuring all components are level, plumb, square, and properly aligned; (3) project management and coordination with government representatives; (4) removal and disposal of existing furniture; (5) comprehensive cleaning and finish work upon completion; (6) dimensional tolerance of ±5 centimeters; and (7) lockable, keyed-alike storage units per workstation. The amendment clarifies that cabinet tops measuring 100x46x1.2 cm should be changed to 150x46x1.2 cm to cover paired cabinets in Area 2, confirms SF-1449 blocks 17a and 30a-30c completion requirements, and confirms that top dimensions should be adjusted to match actual cabinet widths when tolerances are applied. Contractor personnel must comply with base security and badging procedures, maintain visitor passes, and coordinate closely with the designated Government Representative regarding delivery schedules and installation logistics.

RFQ #N6817126QN059 - NSA NAPLES FURNITURE CMDCM OFFICE- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. Could you please tell me which table furniture this item belongs to (electrical lifting structure 140x80x62,5)?. If possible, could you also send me a photo?
Electrical lifting structure 140x80x62,5 is part of the L-shaped electric elevating desk as per PWS. An example of the electrical lifting structure is provided as an attachment. (Document name: Image electrical lifting structure)
2. Clarification regarding cabinet top - Area 2 - The list of required products for Area 2 includes the following items:
One (1) cabinet with three movable shelves and one fixed shelf, one lock, dimensions 100 46 193.8 cm;
One (1) cabinet with one fixed shelf, one lock and one coat hanger, dimensions 50 46 193.8 cm;
One (1) top, dimensions 100 46 1.2 cm.
No top is specified for the cabinet measuring 50 46 193.8 cm. Could you please clarify whether an additional top measuring 50 46 1.2 cm is also required for this cabinet, or whether it is intended to remain without a top?
One (1) top, dimensions 100 46 1.2 cm should be changed to 150 x 46 x 1.2 cm to cover both cabinets because they are to be put together. (Changes have been made on the SOW and are highlighted in red).
3. Clarification regarding completion of SF 1449 - On page 20 of the solicitation, the following instruction is provided:
"Quoter shall submit a signed copy of the SF-1449 Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items, with blocks 17a and 30a through 30c completed."
However, the first page of the SF 1449 contains the following note: "NOTE: OFFEROR TO COMPLETE BLOCKS 12, 17, 23, 24, AND 30." Could you please clarify which blocks of the SF 1449 the Quoter is required to complete?
For the submission of your proposal, please refer strictly to the instruction provided in the Addendum on page 20 of the solicitation. The Quoter is only required to complete and submit the SF-1449 with blocks 17a and 30a through 30c completed (along with signing and acknowledging any solicitation amendments, if applicable).You may disregard the generic pre-printed note on the first page of the SF-1449 regarding blocks 12, 17, 23, 24, and 30.
4. Clarification regarding dimensional tolerance - Areas 1 and 3 -The partial product lists for Areas 1 and 3 include the following items:
Area 1
Three (3) cabinets with one fixed shelf, one lock and one coat hanger, dimensions 50 46 193.8 cm;
Three (3) cabinets with three movable shelves and one fixed shelf, one lock, dimensions 50 46 193.8 cm;
Three (3) tops, dimensions 100 46 1.2 cm.
Area 3
One (1) cabinet with three movable shelves and one fixed shelf, one lock, dimensions 50 46 193.8 cm;
One (1) cabinet with one fixed shelf, one lock and one coat hanger, dimensions 50 46 193.8 cm;
One (1) top, dimensions 100 46 1.2 cm.
The solicitation states: "All material shall be within 5 cm of the below specific dimensions"
N6817126QN0590001
Accordingly, the cabinets specified as 50 cm wide could each be offered with a width of 45 cm, as each individual cabinet would comply with the permitted tolerance. However, since each 100 cm top appears to be intended to cover a pair of cabinets, the combined width of two 45 cm cabinets would be 90 cm.
Could you please clarify whether, for Areas 1 and 3, a 90 cm-wide top would be acceptable, since its width would result from applying the permitted tolerance individually to each cabinet?
Correct, if the cabinets proposed are smaller or wider, the top should be dimensioned accordingly.
