N6660423Q0268 Amendment 0001

The purpose of this Amendment 0001 is to respond to questions from industry.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Industry Question 1: Can you provide offerors with a rough idea of how many pickups or pump outs per year?

Government Response 1: The estimated number of pickups or pump outs a year is ten to eighteen (10 to 18).

Industry Question 2: The request mentions pump outs specifically but not drums or containerized pickups. Could you provide a bit more detail on what type of storage containers offerors could expect to pump out of (ie. drums, above ground or underground used oil collection tanks, secondary containment pits, all the above etc.).?

Government Response 2: Used oil is pumped from tanks and drums. The majority of oily water is pumped from drums and occasionally from a tank or secondary containment pit. All drums are stored in a central accumulation area.

Industry Question 3: What is the expected volume per pickup in gallons (used oil and oily water)?

Government Response 3: The expected volume of used oil per pick up is 3,600 gallons up to truck capacity.

The expected volume of oily water per pick up is 1,000 gallons up to truck capacity.
