Solicitation N6660422R0289
Date Posted in SAM: 2 Jun 2022 Industry Questions Government Responses
Regarding DCAA and DCMA office points of contact (solicitation page 80):
This is something that we are unfamiliar with and we haven’t worked with either of those organizations before. On other contracts we have been exempt from Accounting standards because we are a small business. Can you please advise me how I should proceed with this requirement? If DCAA and DCMA is not applicable to the offeror's business, then state so in your proposal. Not having DCAA and DCMA points of contact/interaction is not a disqualifier for this requirement.
** If potential Offeror plans to request drawings/TDP, potential Offeror must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive them via DoD SAFE. All requests for documents must be submitted to juli.chytka2.civ@us.navy.mil. The request must include the company name, complete address, CAGE Code, point of contact (note: individual listed in the JCP site is the only one authorized to receive the documents), email address, phone number, and JCP registration number.
Crating, will a design be provided for the crate or will it be left up to us to design a crate for transport?
The CCAPs are to be blocked and braced per drawing #8847802 (not part of TDP) for shipment to NUWC. Drawing includes all details and dimensions for headers, sleepers, tiedowns, etc. required to secure qty
(1) up to qty (4) CCAPs (as needed) to a flatbed. Drawing also includes details for chocks on Sheet 12, and provisions for covering the load with waterproof tarpaulins (see Sheet 2, note 8). To receive the drawing, see information listed in column E of this spreadsheet. **
Material cost escalation, will we be able to make a provision for material cost escalation due to the length of time between subsequent sub orders?
This is at the preference of the offeror, based upon delivery schedule provided in the solicitation.
I was hoping to take a look at any machine prints & QTYS you all are looking for here.
The quantities are located in the solicitation, page 33. Regarding prints, to request the drawings/TDP, see information listed in column E of this spreadsheet. **
