The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division(NSWCPD) has a requirement, to be awarded on a competitive basis, to provide engineering and technical services required for the design, development, fabrication, test, repair, and fleet implementation of Digital Video Surveillance System (DVSS) that is deployed on DDG Modernization (DDG-M) Backfit and SCN Ships intended for the monitoring of remote or unmanned engineering spaces. DVSS is also installed on new construction ships (SCN systems) starting with the USS John Finn (DDG 113).
The official Request for Proposal (RFP) will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Written proposals will be requested. Interested offerors should monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFP. The RFP is anticipated for release in May of Fiscal Year (FY)2024, with award anticipated in September of FY 2024.
Award is anticipated of a Firm-Fixed-Price Supply/Services, Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) single award contract with estimated period of performance to be a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. This effort is being competed on an unrestricted basis and is not a small business set-aside.
This contract will be competitively awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 and the Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.401 (b). The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is 2090.
