SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

PART I

The solicitation closing date is hereby extended to 13 March 2020.

PART II

This amendment provides a list of questions and comments received in response to the solicitation. The questions and comments are provided for all potential Offerors to review. Note that questions may have been edited for clarity and duplicative questions may have been combined or deleted. All available, necessary information and any necessary changes to the solicitation resulting from consideration of the below questions and comments have been incorporated into the solicitation in PART I of this Amendment. As a result of this amendment the solicitation is considered to be clear.

1. Are there drawings that go with the Solicitation?

A- There are no drawings that go with the solcitication. Drawings will be provided to Contract Awardee(s), after contract award at the request of the Contractor(s).

2. Section L states: Offerors shall not submit a cost/price proposal. CLINs 0001- 0041 are estimated quantities to be ordered throughout the life of the Contract(s). Will price will be submitted at the Task Order level?

A- The quantities listed in Section B are maximum quantities. Pricing will only be submitted at the Task Order level. Individual Task Orders will be competed amongst all Contract holders.

3. The Solicitation states “The period of performance is anticipated to be seventy-two (72) months with an estimated total maximum quantity of 408 blades and propellers to be repaired throughout the Contract term.” If we add up the number of blades in the RFP quantities, the number is higher. Will the max be 408 or the max number in the RFP?

A- The maximum quantity of 408 is correct, as it is the total of CLINS 0001-0041 listed in Section B.

4. What are the estimated quantities expected to be repaired each year?

A- The estimated quantities are depicted in the chart below. The estimated quantities provided in no way obligate the government to ordering the estimated amount(s) provided. The estimates are provided as a courtesy to Offerors for planning purposes only. The guaranteed minumum of $500 for the RTAT CDRL remains. To reiterate, all Task Orders will be issued on a competitive basis to all MAC awardees in order to promote competition.
