About this file

This document contains a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and details of a related federal contract opportunity for propeller blade repair and refurbishment. The CDRL requires the contractor to submit an Inspection System Program and Test Plan within 60 days of award, including quality system procedures that meet ASQ-9002 requirements and inspection and test procedures for propeller-related items. The contractor must also submit subsequent revisions within 30 days of changes to quality systems or procedures. The federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for propeller blade and fixed pitch propeller repair on behalf of the Naval Sea Systems Command, seeking proposals for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity multiple award contract with a 60-month ordering period and 72-month period of performance to repair 408 blades and propellers for various Navy ship classes. The anticipated solicitation will be available electronically at Beta.Sam.Gov and proposals will be for technical factors only.
