SUMMARY OF CHANGES:

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

RFP QUESTIONS:

1. QUESTION: We are in the process of getting the letter for seal systems. My question to you was will this be ok for the quoting process for this project?

ANSWER: The solicitation is clear on its face. Please refer to paragraph (o) of the Statement of Work.

2. QUESTION: The maximum weight of the motor specified in the solicitation is 3880 lb. This figure appears to be too low to be achieved in a Mil-M-17060 motor of this rating that is Grade A shock rated – our design estimate is closer to 4400lbs. Even a commercial grade motor of an equivalent rating in a 509 frame is typically

4100lbs. Is the 3880 maximum weight limit valid? Please advise.

ANSWER: Please see the updated Statement of Work, which is attached to this amendment.

3. QUESTION: What application or ship will the 350 HP Motors be used on?

ANSWER: The motors are to be used on LHD/LHA class ships for the centrifugal 2000 GPM Fire Pumps.
