Solicitation Questions/Answers Solicitation Reference: N6426719R0030 Title: Interferometers Question 1:

Could you give us some specifications for the transmission flats, no specification were given.

Answer 1:

The specification for the flats is not required if they read the Interferometer CSS attachment.

Question 2:

You also mention 12” beam expanders- could you also provide quantities or specifications?

Answer 2:

The SOW scope has an error; this item does not require a 12” beam expander. See below for correction.

The Scope currently reads like this:

“…The scope of this effort is to procure up to 17 Depot Level Fizeau Interferometer’s for all Navy calibration laboratories necessary to replace the Navy’s current Plano-Interferometer; the D305 and D309 series by Davidson Optronics. The Fizeau Interferometer shall cover up to four (4) inches in diameter for optical flats with a 4-inch transmission flat and up to 12 inches in diameter with a beam expander attachment. For vertical configurations, the minimum height length for testing of gage blocks for this configuration shall be six (6) inches to provide proper clearance…” Please replace with:
