Integrated Security Management Software
Enterprise
Advanced Enterprise Security Integration OnGuard Enterprise is the industry’s first multi-server, synchronized database solution designed for enterprises with multiple facilities spread across geographical areas.
OnGuard Enterprise allows corporate security and IT managers to maintain central control over the entire integrated security system, while allowing regional offices to maintain independence and autonomous operations of their respective individual regional security systems.
Central Database Storage Facilities OnGuard Enterprise gives corporate security and IT managers complete command and control over all system and event information. All cardholder and access control field data accumulated at the regional servers is synchronized and logged to a master enterprise server. This gives corporate security managers full viewing control over central alarm monitoring, reporting, and auditing functionality.
Autonomous Regional Operations OnGuard Enterprise gives regional system administrators autonomous control over their individual regions, independent of the enterprise server and corporate wide area network. Each regional system administrator has total control over all access control field hardware and system information related to his respective region. Additionally, regional administrators and operators can view, control, and modify only the information and field hardware that is related to their regions.

Enterprise
Multi-Database Synchronization At periodic intervals, each of the regional servers performs a synchronization process with their “parent” enterprise server via wide area network communication. All access control field and event information, as well as updated cardholder information, is uploaded through all levels to the enterprise server. The enterprise server then distributes any changes received from other regional servers, so that all servers are equipped operating with up-to-date information.
Scalability for Multinational Sites OnGuard Enterprise is scalable, which makes it ideal for any size installation. It supports an unlimited* number of regional servers and client workstations. Its powerful, transaction-based architecture allows the system to grow and expand as the organization grows, while utilizing the same access control field hardware and application software.
Third Party Human Resource Interface OnGuard Enterprise’s advanced interfacing capabilities allow bidirectional communication with third party databases—such as human resource systems—to transfer cardholder information.
Updates occur in real time, and cardholder information is automatically downloaded to all associated access panels. If an employee is terminated, the information is transferred from the HR system to OnGuard Enterprise, which automatically removes all access rights for the cardholder and downloads the required information to the access controllers.
A Single Card Enterprise Solution With OnGuard Enterprise, each cardholder carries a single ID card that is usable at all regional sites in the system. Once the cardholder database has been distributed to the regions, each regional administrator can assign unique access levels for the cardholders that are allowed at his region. OnGuard Enterprise’s advanced security allows system administrators and operators to assign access levels for only those card readers that are in their respective regions.
Multi-Regional Monitoring and Administration OnGuard Enterprise’s power and flexibility allows system operators to monitor alarms in multiple regions simultaneously.
This means that regional operators might, for example, monitor alarm and event information locally during working hours, while enterprise operators might monitor alarms from all of the regions after hours. An unlimited number of regions can be monitored simultaneously. OnGuard Enterprise also allows enterprise system administrators to configure and administer multiple regions from a single site.

LNL-2220
The LNL-2220 Intelligent Dual Reader Controller (IDRC) by Lenel provides a single board solution for interfacing one or two doors to an OnGuard system. In addition, other I/O and reader interface modules can be added on the LNL-2220’s downstream port to expand its capabilities. The LNL-2220 revolutionizes access control system architecture by allowing Ethernet connection directly from an entry location to the OnGuard server, while still providing the security, functionality, and modularity of Lenel’s proven hardware platform. The LNL-2220 is scalable for any access control application, from the most basic to the most sophisticated. In the event of communication loss, the LNL-2220 allows nearly all local functionality to continue unimpaired until the server connection is restored.
Utilizing its native Ethernet communications and an advanced 32-bit processor, the LNL-2220 can communicate upstream to the host computer through its Ethernet port (with a throughput up to eight times greater than the fastest serial connections), or at up to 115.2 Kbps using RS-232 communication directly or through an external dial-up modem. The LNL-2220 can store up to 250,000 cardholders in non-volatile flash memory, and supports selective download for larger cardholder databases. The downstream RS-485 two-wire port can be used to connect up to 32 devices (maximum 64 doors).
Two on-board reader ports support Data1/Data0, Clock/Data, Bioscrypt RS-485 readers and the bidirectional RS-485 Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) communications. Each LNL-2220 supports up to eight different card formats. The LNL-2220 includes eight inputs that support normally open, normally closed, supervised, and unsupervised circuits. In addition, four output relays support fail-safe or fail-secure operation.

Dual Reader Interface Module
LNL-1320 Series 2 Overview
Lenel offers a Dual Reader Interface (DRI) module for access control solutions. Most access control card readers, keypads, or readers with keypads that use standard Wiegand Data1/Data0 or Clock/Data communication are supported, as are those that support the bidirectional
RS-485 Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). Lock, unlock, and facility code offline access modes are supported on all readers connected to the DRI. Each DRI supports up to eight different card formats as well as issue codes for both magnetic and Wiegand card formats.
The DRI provides a vital link between the Intelligent System Controller
(ISC) and the card reader attached to the interface. As many as 32
DRI modules can be multidropped using RS-485 2-wire or 4-wire communication up to 4,000 feet per port away from the ISC. Each DRI module is individually addressed for increased reporting capabilities with
OnGuard® access control software applications. The DRI includes eight inputs that support normally open, normally closed, supervised, and non-supervised circuits. In addition, six output relays support fail-safe or fail-secure operation.

AL600ULACM
• Eight (8) independently controlled fuse protected outputs.
AL600ULACMCB
• Eight (8) independently controlled
PTC protected outputs.
• Class 2 Rated power limited outputs.
• The AL600ULACM / AL600ULACMCB converts an 115VAC 60Hz input into eight (8) independently controlled 12VDC or 24VDC Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure outputs with a total of 6 amp continuous supply current. These power outputs can be converted to dry form "C" contacts (AL600ULACM only). Outputs are activated by an open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input from an Access Control System, Card Reader, Keypad, Push Button, PIR, etc. These units will route power to a variety of access control hardware devices including Mag Locks, Electric Strikes, Magnetic Door Holders, etc. The outputs will operate in both Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure modes. PHYSICAL ACCESS SOLUTIONS
pivCLASS® Contactless Readers
CONTACTLESS READERS FOR "CONTROLLED" AREAS ENABLE
HIGH SECURITY, INTEROPERABILITY AND COMPLIANCE
Part of an integrated solution from a single, trusted provider – Enable FIPS 201 compliance per NIST SP 800-116 guidelines and the TWIC Reader Specification.
Contactless reader solutions for "Controlled" security areas – Meet NIST's "Controlled" security area assurance-level requirements with a single-factor authentication.
Support multiple card types – Work with PIV, PIV-I, CAC, CIV (a.k.a., PIV-C), TWIC, FRAC, iCLASS® and HID Prox® cards for easy, phased transitions from legacy technology to new PKI-enabled smart cards.
HID Global's pivCLASS Government Solutions portfolio enables facilities to upgrade their existing physical access control system (PACS) to achieve FIPS 201 compliance.
The pivCLASS contactless readers (R10, R15 and
R40) and their proximity-enabled versions deliver the "Controlled" assurance level defined in the
National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST) SP 800-116 guidelines when used with the pivCLASS Authentication Module (PAM) to perform a single-factor authentication check:
CHUID + VIS Authentication – The pivCLASS system tests the signature on the PIV Card
Holder Unique IDentifier (CHUID) data object.
The CHUID signature check ensures the card is authentic (came from a valid issuer) and has integrity (has not been altered).
Because the CHUID is a “free read” and will be transmitted unencrypted to any reader, it could be possible for perpetrators to capture a PIV card's CHUID and create a counterfeit card.
However, the required visual check (VIS) of the card secures against this threat by making it possible to identify cards that have been counterfeited or altered.*
CAK Authentication – These pivCLASS readers work with the PAM to perform a PKI challenge-response test in addition to a signature check to validate the card authentication key (CAK).
The challenge-response test ensures the public key in the card authentication certificate is bound to the private key on the card. This CAK authentication secures against cards that have been counterfeited, altered, copied or cloned.
These pivCLASS readers are guaranteed to meet the stringent specifications for operation, reliability and interoperability with other
Genuine HID™ products.
ADDITIONAL PRODUCT FEATURES:
Architected for maximum security and affordability, these readers utilize the pivCLASS Authentication Module to provide cryptographic functionality and to pass Wiegand-formatted data to the PACS controller. Locating the critical security operations within the secure perimeter, rather than on the attack side of the door, increases security and reader affordability.
Up to two pivCLASS readers can connect to a pivCLASS Authentication Module via four-wire RS-485 communication to the reader, typically enabling facilities to reuse much of their existing wiring.
Available in mullion, mini-mullion and wall switch form factors to mount and cover single-gang switch boxes.
Available with either a pigtail or terminal strip wiring termination.
Each of these readers can also be ordered with 125 kHz proximity support.
Meet NIST assurance-level requirements for these areas:
* Per SP 800-116, to achieve "Controlled" assurance, the CHUID read must be combined with a visual check (VIS) of the identification card.
