N6274225R0101 Question Answer
Question # Question Government Response
Please clarify what exactly is meant by electrical protection engineer? An Electrical Protection Engineer would be responsible for the services included in Part 1.e. of the type of utility system studies and services expected to be performed under the contract: "Resolution of other technical deficiencies and system aspects including vulnerability, load flow, fault current analysis and coordination of protective devices".
The synopsis lists coordination of protective devices as another criteria and we have SKM and ETAP software that can be used for the studies that are required for that. Is that adequate to meet the intent of the requirements?
No, just having the software doe not meet the requirement.
