QUESTION # QUESTION GOVERNMENT RESPONSE
1 Is an incumbent contract or contractor associated to the requirement. If any, please provide the contractor's name and contract number.
No. This is a new requirement.
2 Would NAVFAC reconsider the requirement for hardcopy submissions and allow all Electronic submittal?
No. The requirement remains unchanged.
3 For firms forming a JV, but haven't received their UEI and/or CAGE Code yet, can individual firm's codes be provided and followed up with the JV information when the JV has been processed by SAM.gov? All the submission requirements listed in the solicitation for a JV will still be provided with the proposal.
Yes.
4 On past NAVFAC PAC A/E IDIQ solicitations for design services, we have not seen the requirement for construction completion of the project.
The current requirement precludes several relevant projects from being included in the SF330. Can you please revise the requirement to remove construction completion and require that design completion within the last 12 years?
No. The requirement remains unchanged.
5 Would NAVFAC consider reducing the relevant construction value of a project from $20M to $10M considering that some projects may include all of the relevant features but not be as large?
No. The requirement remains unchanged.
6 Since the preparation of DB RFP solicitation documents are a potential service, can the preparation of DB RFP documents be considered as a relevant project?
No. The requirement remains unchanged.
7 Since the preparation of programming documents such as 1391's, FACD, site development and planning,, etc. are a service listed in the RFP, can the preparation of these documents be considered as a relevant project?
No. The requirement remains unchanged.
