Question No.

1 Page 3 of 56 We normally do not quote rates in US Dollars, all previous solicitations we have submitted for MRF-D Darwin have been in Australian Dollars, are we able to submit Australian Dollar pricing.

The requirements change to Australian Dollars.

2 Page 5, 6,7,8 of 56

The Solicitation refers to the requirement for Darwin and Other areas throughout Australia, The compay Car Rental Darwin is a Franchise, this Franchise’s operating area is the Northern Territory, Broome and Kununurra, if this requirement is for other areas of Australia we could refer it to another branch of the company location but we would not be able to invoice it from our Franchise.

Please advise if there it is likely for there to be a demand outside of our Franchise area.

At this time, all vehicles are expected to be based in and around the Darwin area, however they may be used to travel to different parts of Australia occasionally for short periods of time. As such, we do not see a need to be referred to other franchise areas at this time.

In the current and previous Solicitations instead of getting quotes (estimates) from two different repairers we get the vehicle damage independently assessed by a Licensed assessing company, this gives a high level of transparency for all involved.

An independent assessment from a licensed assessment company is an acceptable course of action.

12 SOW item 9 - Fines - page 8 of

The procedure with infringement notices is that the Agency responsible for issuing the fine will send an infringement notice for a Offeror's vehicle to Offeror, Offeror then fills out the statutory declaration form that is attached to the fine stating that the vehicle was in the control of MRF-D at the time of the infringement, this is then e-mailed back to the Fines Recovery office, this infringement is then reissued by the Fines Recovery unit to MRF-D Darwin, a MRF-D Darwin representative must then fill in another statutory declaration form noting the details of the actual driver of the vehicle at the time of the infringement and then sent the Statutory Declaration back to the fines recovery unit, at this point the fines recovery unit will reissue the fine to the Driver of the vehicle. It has to be done this way because the initial fine issued to Offeror is 5 times the cost of the fine but once the actual person that was driving the vehicle is issued with the fine the fine is reduced back to the normal amount. As an example if a fine for driving at 10 kilometres an hour over the speed limit might be $100 but because the initial fine is sent to Offeror, which is a Company not an individual person, the fine is $500 (five times the normal fine), when the fine is reissued to MRF-D Darwin it will be also $500 but when it is reissued to a person the fine drops back to $100.

This is acceptable at the units discretion.
