About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation N6264926QH010, addressing contractor inquiries regarding the removal, storage, and delivery of approximately 300 twin-sized mattresses from the YRBM-58 berthing barge at Naval Base Guam. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside with a performance period from March 2, 2026 through June 20, 2026, with no anticipated option periods or extensions beyond this timeframe.
The mattresses, each measuring approximately 38" x 75" and weighing 40-50 lbs with a thickness of 6-8", are distributed across all 4 levels of the barge and must be removed via stairs only (no elevator access). Offerors must plan for maximum capacity removal at the start of performance, with all mattresses to be removed within one week and transported to a contractor-provided climate-controlled storage facility. The facility must prevent mold, mildew, moisture damage, and physical degradation. Work is expected to occur during standard business hours (0800-1530, Monday-Friday as needed) within the performance period. Storage requires a minimum of a combo lock or key lock security measure. Government will provide photographs of access points and mattresses to interested parties, and no storage is required before or after the stated performance period.
