QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question 1: The description of CLIN X001AJ “PMIP (strip & paint)” is unclear. Please elaborate what work is involved for this CLIN.

Answer 1: The "PMIP" SLIN (and associated price) is for a stand-alone "Complete Strip/Paint", not in concurrence with any other event, performed in accordance with A1-H60-IMP-000 2-3.3. Corrective Action d. "Complete Strip/Paint. (Required for all aircraft undergoing PMI 2N)." It will not be used when "Complete Strip/Paint" is required by another SLIN (such as PMI 2N). The intent was for this SLIN to be the discrete cost for painting and stripping the aircraft in accordance with the PMI spec. As such, only the costs associated with painting and stripping the aircraft should be allocable to this SLIN.
